Job Description

BESIX Watpac are seeking a Document Controller to join our Queensland construction team delivering a commercial project in Maroochydore. Working in a collaborative team you will be managing the document management system (Aconex).

  • Managing all incoming and outgoing documents, logging, distribution, filing and archiving of documents and drawings received. Maintaining registers including materials registers, drawing registers and files.
  • Controlling all project documentation using industry-standard systems. Assisting with QA coordination and document control - ensuring records are kept and administered in accordance with the project QA plan.
  • Ensure compliance with the Company Quality, Occupational Health & Safety and Environmental Policies and procedures.
  • Providing general project administration support to the team as required.
  • Preparing monthly and other reports as required.

Qualifications

  • Previous experience within the building and construction industry or a similar industry.
  • Strong administrative skills including preparation of general correspondence, filing and document control, minute taking, and office management.
  • Intermediate level of MSWord, MSExcel, MSOutlook and ability and willingness to learn new software packages as required.
  • High level of organisational and time management skills and demonstrated attention to detail.
  • Prior experience with Aconex is highly desirable.
