The Role

We are seeking a high-energy, results-driven Business Development Manager (BDM) to join our QLD/NSW team. This is a high-activity role that combines relationship building, prospecting, and closing opportunities with employers who need apprentices. You'll be out on the road meeting with clients, identifying opportunities, and driving growth in your territory.

Key Responsibilities
  • Identify, develop, and manage employer partnerships to place apprentices and trainees
  • Prospect new business opportunities via calls, visits, networking, and events
  • Meet weekly and monthly activity and sales targets
  • Conduct face-to-face meetings and presentations with decision-makers
  • Maintain accurate records in the CRM and prepare regular pipeline reports
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth recruitment and onboarding processes
  • Represent Everthought Education at industry functions and networking events
About You
  • Proven track record in business development, sales, or recruitment (apprenticeship, training, or construction sector experience highly regarded)
  • Self-motivated and target-driven, with strong networking skills
  • Confident communicator with the ability to influence and close deals
  • Highly organised, with excellent time management skills
  • Current driver's licence and willingness to travel within SE QLD and Northern NSW
