    The Role

    The Menzies HealthLAB is a co-designed, educational, interactive, mobile, pop-up laboratory where participants can take their own health measures and learn what they mean for their current and future health. SheLAB is a HealthLAB initiative tailored for women and girls that aims to address the inequities of access to health promotion for women and girls in regional, remote, and very remote Australia health.

    The projects aim to educate youth and the wider community on lifestyle strategies to reduce chronic disease risk to themselves and the following generations. The Registered Nurse will provide health literacy and clinical support to the project within the scope of practice.

    The successful candidate for this role will play a vital role in performing and monitoring clinical measures, including blood pressure and haemoglobin levels, and by supporting health promotion messaging to women and girls on women's health issues, including sexual and reproductive health.

    About You

    As a motivated individual, with excellent interpersonal skills, you will come with a current registration as a registered nurse with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia and the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).

    You Also Have
    • Demonstrated clinical experience working in either a hospital or health service, and experience working with First Nations Australian clients and colleagues.
    • Demonstrated experience of providing training of staff, students and volunteers.
    • Demonstrated experience working in health care service delivery, particularly within the Northern Territory and a strong understanding of health issues and culturally appropriate practices affecting First Nations communities.

    The Benefits
    • Base Salary $99,341 - $107,806 per annum (Total remuneration package including superannuation $123,442 - $133,092 per annum).
    • Generous leave provisions including 6 weeks annual leave.
    • Salary packaging up to $15,900 per annum and $2,650 meal and entertainment card tax free.
    • Option to increase Super to 14%.
