A$75.00/hr - A$85.00/hr

Midwife – Darwin contract

Talent Quarter are seeking an experienced, compassionate and dedicated Midwife to join our long-standing client in Darwin to complete an 8-week contract.

YourRole:

Your role as the Midwife, you will be responsible for, but not limited to:
  • Assessing and improving the health of those who are pregnant and their babies
  • Scheduling regular appointments to provide care and support
  • Conduct screening to identify high-risk pregnancies
  • Providing care during labour – checking vital signs, monitoring the position of the baby and performing physical examinations to determine a patient's stage of labour
  • Providing postnatal care
  • Conducting newborn screening tests to monitor and document the baby's health
Whatyou'll need to be considered:
  • CurrentAHPRAregistration
  • Minimum of 3 years' experience as a Midwife
  • Unrestricted working rights in Australia
  • Be self-motivated with an ability to work independently
