About the Law Firm:
Our client is a well-regarded criminal defence law firm, representing clients in all criminal matters from traffic offences to major trials involving white-collar crime, fraud, drug trafficking and violent offences. They are regularly retained for superior court appeals and are recognised as a first-tier firm in Doyle's Guide.
What You'll Be Doing:
As a Criminal Defence Litigation Solicitor, you'll support and lead defence litigation matters across institutional liability, professional misconduct and disciplinary proceedings, developing and expanding your practice at every stage.
- Conduct legal research and draft strategic advices on complex regulatory matters.
- Assist with case preparation, briefs and trial documentation.
- Collaborate with senior lawyers and barristers on superior court trials and appeals.
- 3–5 years PQE in litigation focusing on institutional liability, professional misconduct or administrative/disciplinary proceedings.
- Criminal law experience welcome but not essential.
- Excellent drafting, advocacy and client-management skills.
- Work on high-profile institutional liability and misconduct cases.
- Mentorship from senior practitioners and leading barristers.
