Responsibilities- Managing hospital billing and private practice administration, including generating invoices and submitting claims to Medicare, health funds, and third-party payers.
- Monitoring and following up on accounts receivable, process debt waivers and write-offs, and support efficient revenue recovery and reconciliation.
- Handling doctor and hospital disbursements, fund transfers, and associated financial reporting and reconciliations.
- Providing accurate receipting, cash handling, banking support, and revenue from hospital facilities.
- Supporting system efficiency and compliance initiatives through reporting, clerical support, and participation in financial management projects.
- Experience with finance processes, including patient billing, receivables, and cashiering functions.
- Strong skills in data entry, computer applications, and computerized accounting or billing systems.
- Experience with SUNR or EMR systems is preferred, though not essential.
- Knowledge of billing, receivables, and cashiering procedures is essential; experience preparing patient billing and claims to Medicare and health funds is desirable.
- Proven ability to build effective working relationships with customers and colleagues, delivering quality service.
