Billing & Accounts Receivable Specialist

Join our team as a Billing & Accounts Receivable Specialist at Cohen & Co. We are seeking a detail-oriented and adaptable professional to manage billing processes, handle accounts receivable follow-up, and provide excellent service to clients and internal teams.

Responsibilities include:
  • Preparing and sending accurate client invoices based on engagement letters.
  • Serving as the first point of contact for billing inquiries.
  • Initiating billing processes and collaborating with teams to ensure accuracy and timeliness.
  • Monitoring accounts receivable, following up on outstanding balances, and coordinating with partners.
  • Managing shared mailboxes and preparing documents for collection agencies.
  • Utilizing systems such as Outlook, Salesforce, STAR, Workday, and Excel.
  • Participating in month-end close activities and process improvements.
Qualifications:
  • Experience in billing and accounts receivable.
  • Strong attention to detail and communication skills.
  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proactive, self-motivated, and able to work independently.
Preferred Skills:
  • Experience with Workday, Salesforce, and Microsoft Office.
  • Month-end close experience.
  • Adaptability to new systems and processes.
Location:
  • Akron or Cleveland, OH (Hybrid work environment).
