Join our team as a Billing & Accounts Receivable Specialist at Cohen & Co. We are seeking a detail-oriented and adaptable professional to manage billing processes, handle accounts receivable follow-up, and provide excellent service to clients and internal teams.
Responsibilities include:- Preparing and sending accurate client invoices based on engagement letters.
- Serving as the first point of contact for billing inquiries.
- Initiating billing processes and collaborating with teams to ensure accuracy and timeliness.
- Monitoring accounts receivable, following up on outstanding balances, and coordinating with partners.
- Managing shared mailboxes and preparing documents for collection agencies.
- Utilizing systems such as Outlook, Salesforce, STAR, Workday, and Excel.
- Participating in month-end close activities and process improvements.
- Experience in billing and accounts receivable.
- Strong attention to detail and communication skills.
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Proactive, self-motivated, and able to work independently.
- Experience with Workday, Salesforce, and Microsoft Office.
- Month-end close experience.
- Adaptability to new systems and processes.
- Akron or Cleveland, OH (Hybrid work environment).
