Job Responsibilities- Perform timely review and verification of coding information for radiology charges.
- Implement and perform all corrections of coding information according to regulations and guidelines established by policy.
- Serve as department and hospital resource for verification of radiology charges and script information.
- Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
- High school level course work in English Grammar, Composition, and Basic Mathematics.
- Knowledge of Radiology Procedures, CPT and ICD-10 coding.
- Ability to use a computer in an office setting and proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel.
- Medical terminology required.
- CPC certification (Certified Professional Coder).
- Experience in medical billing and coding.
- Knowledge of electronic medical records systems.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
