Location: Elwood, VIC 3184

Employment type: Part-time, with potential for growth

Hours: 25 total hours per week on split shifts (Mon to Fri): 7:00–9:00 (before school) and 15:00–18:00 (after school)

Responsibilities
  • As the Second in Charge (2IC), lead the delivery of high-quality OSHC care and create engaging experiences for primary school-aged children.
  • Engage with the school community, attend events and assemblies.
  • Assist with the creation and implementation of enriching experiences based on children's preferences.
  • Foster genuine relationships with children and their families.
  • Ensure the program complies with industry regulations and quality standards.
  • Collaborate with the Director of Service to support operations and continuous improvement.
Qualifications and Skills
  • Relevant Diploma qualification (or equivalent) or working towards it, as per ACECQA standards.
  • Experience in Before and After School Care or education is preferred but not essential; training is provided.
  • Thrives in a fast-paced environment, strong communication with children, parents, team members, and school principals.
  • Strong teamwork, problem-solving skills, and a positive, can-do attitude.
  • Passionate about creating enriching experiences for primary-aged children.
  • Energetic, enthusiastic, and loves to have fun with children.
