Overview

TeamKids is the premium provider of Outside School Hours Care (OSHC) throughout Australia. We exist to excite, engage and entertain children before school, after school and throughout school holidays. This permanent, part-time opportunity offers hands-on experience in the OSHC industry. You'll be supported by a Director of Service to thrive in your role. This is a maternity leave cover to July 2026.

Service Location: Yarraville, VIC 3013. You'll work across split shifts, Monday to Friday.

  • BSC: 6.30am-9am
  • ASC: 3pm-6pm
  • Total hours: 27.50

Accountabilities include leading care delivery and creating memorable experiences for children in our service as the Second in Charge (2IC).

Responsibilities
  • Engage with the school community, attending events and assemblies.
  • Assist with creation and implementation of enriching experiences based on children's preferences.
  • Foster genuine relationships with children and their families.
  • Play and have fun with primary school aged children.
  • Support program compliance with industry regulations.
  • Lead and contribute as a key leader in delivering high-quality care.
The Successful Candidate
  • Experience in Before and After School Care or education is preferred but not essential; training is available.
  • Thrives in a fast-paced environment and maintains a positive, can-do attitude.
  • Confident with children, parents, team members, and school principals.
  • Strong team player with good problem-solving skills.
  • Passionate about creating enriching experiences for primary-aged children.
  • Energetic, enthusiastic, and loves to have fun.
  • Relevant Diploma qualification (equivalent or working towards) as per ACECQA standards.
