About the Role

As an Account Executive, you will:

  • Support a Senior Account Manager with day-to-day client management, assisting on a portfolio of clients worth approx. $450,000
  • Manage client renewals, pre-renewal preparation, endorsements, certificates and cancellations
  • Handle high-volume, templated insurance requirements for franchise groups (e.g., retail and food brands)
  • Provide advice and support to small business owners
  • Act as a trusted consultant, guiding clients through renewals and policy questions
  • Assist with new business and client retention activities
  • Receive structured training, coaching and mentoring, with Tier 1 qualification covered
  • Benefit from clear career progression into Senior Account Executive / Account Manager roles
  • Work in a friendly, collaborative CBD office of 40+ colleagues

This role is hands-on, client-facing and high-volume – perfect for someone ready to learn fast and grow into a senior broking role.

About You
  • 1–2 years' experience in general insurance across broking/claims ideal, but not essential
  • Financial services background also considered
  • Patient, empathetic and people-focused. Able to support franchise business owners
  • Strong communication skills (verbal and written)
  • Ambitious, coachable and eager to progress in the insurance industry
  • Tier 1 qualification supported if not already held
