We're looking for a detail-focused bookkeeper with hands-on AP/AR experience to support project accounting, contracts, reporting and project delivery.
OverviewJoin the Bendigo Advertiser as an Accounts Coordinator. This role focuses on project accounting within the contracts and project delivery lifecycle, bridging finance and operations.
What you'll do- Check project setups to ensure invoicing requirements are captured from the start
- Monitor project financials to give Project Managers real-time visibility of project health
- Use tools like Business Central, Power BI and Excel to track and report
- Manage project invoicing in line with contract terms
- Support day-to-day AP/AR and data entry tasks
- Certificate-level qualification in finance or solid hands-on bookkeeping-related experience
- A background in bookkeeping, accounts payable or receivable — ideally in a fast-paced environment such as real estate, construction or similar
- Strong attention to detail and reliability
- Solid Excel skills and an interest in learning ERP systems (e.g. Business Central)
- Step out of repetitive bookkeeping into the engine room of projects
- Gain exposure to contracts, proposals and project life cycles
- Learn how finance underpins project delivery, not just reporting
- Work where accuracy, initiative and reliability are valued daily
