Responsibilities
  • Lead, mentor, and support a team of Traffic Controllers to achieve high performance and compliance.
  • Oversee daily scheduling, resourcing, and deployment of crews.
  • Ensure compliance with safety, legislative, and company policies.
  • Build strong client relationships and manage stakeholder expectations.
  • Provide hands-on operational support when required.
  • Drive efficiency, problem-solving, and continuous improvement across operations.
Must Have Criteria / To Be Successful In This Role
  • Holds a WA C Class driver's licence
  • Holds a White Card (or willing to obtain)
  • Leadership Experience – Minimum 2 years' experience supervising and leading 40+ people
  • Industry Background – Previous experience in construction, transport, security, retail or hospitality
  • Safety Focus – Strong history of safe work habits, culture & practices
  • Technical Proficiency – Very strong computer skills and ability to use various software daily, including Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel
  • Communication Skills – Strong written and verbal communication; able to document in electronic task management and operating systems daily
  • Performance Management – Experience with performance management processes
  • Problem-Solving – Structured, analytical mindset with ability to think creatively and provide well-reasoned solutions
  • Attention to Detail – Excellent attention to detail and adherence to documented processes
  • Flexibility – Ability to participate in a rotating on-call roster (one weekend every 8 weeks + 2 mid-week nights per month)
