Finance CSS Front office Manager

Lead and drive local Common Shared Service (CSS) front office in close cooperation with regional CSS Center to provide cost-efficient and competitive services to the business in line with Group standards and best practices. In addition, support the Country Finance Director in securing finance related local fiduciary duties, compiling local statutory GAAP books, and other local reporting. Ensure continuous process improvement and good internal control in accounting and reporting processes.

How you'll make an impact:

You will develop and implement a strategic plan for the CSS Finance Front office and participate in strategic planning as a member of the Finance Director's management team, coordinate preparation and enforce the CSS Finance front office budget, guide, motivate, develop and set targets for the CSS Finance front office staff and the CSS Finance front office as a whole.

You will drive implementation of best practices and continuous optimization of local processes to gain efficiency and drive productivity gain, drive harmonization and standardization locally in line with global solutions and best practices and assist in development of global solutions.

You will manage relationships with business partners to ensure that services are defined and delivered as agreed, develop and maintain Service Level Agreements with business partners, arrange and drive internal customer review meetings on a regular basis and track mutually agreed action plans.

You will enforce Hitachi Energy's global Accounting Standards, compliance with Hitachi Energy Accounting and Reporting Guidelines, local GAAP and Internal Control over Financial Reporting in line with Hitachi Energy control framework, ensure transparency in financial reporting, enhance and manage internal control environment.

You will ensure internal/external financial audits and other statutory audits are handled with high standards and in a professional manner and the findings are addressed and resolved in a timely way, lead and supervise CSS Finance front office personnel.

You will ensure (with HR Manager support) that the area of responsibility is organized, staffed, skilled and directed, guide and motivate and develop direct/indirect subordinates within HR Policies.

You will be responsible for ensure compliance with applicable external and internal regulations, procedures, and guidelines.

Your background:

You hold a university degree in finance.

Experience in leading or coordinating a team and solid accounting knowledge, IFRS/local GAAP, as well as ICoFR knowledge.

Strong cross-team collaboration skills, independent and proactive way of working, strong analytical skills. Good knowledge of SAP & MS Office.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills and ability to engage and motivate team members. Proficiency in English communication.
