Role Summary

As our Accounts Receivable Officer, you will be a vital part of the finance team, ensuring the smooth flow of revenue across the business. You will take ownership of the accounts receivable function, managing invoicing, tracking payments, and maintaining strong relationships with our corporate clients and internal teams. The ideal candidate enjoys problem-solving, staying organized, and paying attention to detail.

Accountabilities

  • Ensure accurate and timely recognition of receivables to support reliable financial reporting.
  • Maintain strong cash flow through prompt and consistent collections.
  • Build and sustain positive relationships with clients and internal stakeholders via effective communication.
  • Support compliance standards and audit readiness with accurate record-keeping.
  • Contribute to process improvements to enhance efficiency and scalability of receivables operations.
  • Collaborate across departments to align on billing and account management.

Skills and Experiences: About You

  • Australian approved working rights (Citizenship, Permanent Residency, or valid visa)
  • Experience in AR or similar, or relevant qualifications/study in accounting
  • Strong relationship management skills
  • Excellent collaboration, assertiveness, and communication skills (written and verbal)
  • Interest in understanding hotel operations for role benefit
  • Organizational skills, attention to detail, and time management
  • High emotional intelligence (EQ)
