Salary: $125,183 - $130,779 p.a. plus Superannuation and Salary Sacrifice benefits – RN3

Employment type: Temporary Full-Time, up to 12 months

About The Role

The Northern Adelaide Local Health Network is seeking a Nurse Practitioner Candidate to join the Neurology Department. The role involves providing comprehensive care to individuals living with epilepsy and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to enhance quality of life for patients and families.

You will work in a dynamic environment, requiring calm decision-making, effective communication with patients, families and colleagues, and the ability to provide high-quality care.

Key Responsibilities

• perform comprehensive patient assessments
• develop and implement individualised treatment plans in collaboration with the healthcare team
• provide advanced nursing care, including prescribing medications and ordering diagnostic tests
• educate patients and their families on disease management and preventive measures
• contribute to the continuous improvement of protocols and procedures

Nurses classified at this level are working towards becoming an expert and providing extended practice in their specialist field within their scope of practice, supported by ongoing clinical exposure, post graduate qualifications and mentoring, under supervision by an authorised nurse practitioner and/or medical staff.

To be eligible for this position, you must be registered or eligible for registration as a Nurse with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia. You must be enrolled (or eligible to enrol) in an NMBA approved program leading to endorsement as a Nurse Practitioner.
