We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Pre-construction Project Manager to join our Construction team in Brisbane. This role recognises that meticulous planning fundamentally shapes project success.

Your impact will include working with our Construction Managers and Cost Planner to transform our visions into achievable roadmaps, with a focus on early works packages.

Your Responsibilities
  • Represent the construction department through all design phases until project handover
  • Build comprehensive project methodologies that address time, cost, safety, and quality considerations
  • Create detailed handover packages including cash flow, BOQ, and tender submissions
  • Manage mid-level and tender budgets
  • Oversee program development and submission processes
  • Coordinate with QA and HSE Managers to address high-risk areas
  • Manage project risk registers throughout the design phase
  • Establish compliance documentation and project setups
  • Lead early works procurement and tendering processes
What You'll Bring
  • At least 5 years experience in project management or contract administration, with project setup
  • Proven knowledge of early works packages
  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Construction Management, Quantity surveying, or a similar field
  • Exceptional organisational abilities and attention to detail
  • Strong problem-solving capabilities and a calm demeanor under pressure
  • Professional communication skills, both written and verbal
  • High level of flexibility to adapt to changing priorities
  • Ability to foster continuous improvement in systems and procedures
  • Positive, team-oriented attitude
