Position Summary:

Key Responsibilities: (Overview, not limited to)
Leadership & Strategy
- Provide direction across all construction projects, aligning outcomes with business goals and client expectations.
- Advise the General Manager on risks, opportunities, and key decisions.
- Contribute to pipeline growth through early contractor involvement (ECI) and design & construct opportunities.
- Play an active role in the Senior Leadership Team, shaping the company's vision and long-term strategy.
Project Delivery & Operations
- Oversee all phases of construction, from pre-construction to completion.
- Promote best-practice methods to optimise safety, productivity, and quality.
- Manage permits, approvals, and compliance with legislation and company standards.
Design & Pre-Construction
- Partner with pre-construction and bid teams to assess tenders, estimates, and programmes.
- Coordinate consultants to ensure designs meet regulatory and delivery requirements.
- Drive constructability reviews to reduce risks and enhance project outcomes.
People & Culture
- Lead and mentor Construction Managers, Project Managers, and operational leaders.
- Foster a collaborative, safe, and high-performance culture.
- Support succession planning, staff development, and continuous improvement.
Systems & Compliance
- Oversee operational systems, processes, and tools.
- Ensure compliance with ISO, WHS, and quality standards.
- Lead audits, training, and implementation of new systems.

Qualifications & Skills required
- Australian recognised bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Business etc..
- Minimum of 10 years in senior construction leadership with proven success across large-scale projects in Australia.
- Strong commercial acumen, negotiation, and financial management skills.
- Demonstrated ability to lead teams, engage stakeholders, and deliver complex projects.
- Must have industrial projects experience
- Ability to manage 4-5 D&C industrial projects & teams concurrently
- Ability to manage all aspects of end-to-end project delivery
- Client & stakeholder management
- Head contract management
- MS project experience is essential
- Experience in managing external design consultants
- Experience in managing authority approvals processes
- Exceptional leadership skills
- Strong desire to mentor project teams and individuals
- Experienced in compliance frameworks (ISO, WHS, Quality).
- Strategic thinker with resilience, adaptability, and a commitment to safety and continuous improvement.
