Serpentine, Australia Wormall Group Full time

You'll be based on site at Wormall Group's head office in Cardup (near Byford), Monday to Friday, reporting directly to the Group HR Manager.

Representing Wormall Group's five divisions, you'll support business leaders as we implement significant changes and initiatives over the next 6 to 18 months.

Experience in the Building & Construction industry is not essential; however, this position requires several years of supporting a large and diverse blue-collar workforce.

What your day will look like

  • Providing high-level advice on organisational policies, award interpretation, and HR best practices
  • Handling sensitive and confidential information
  • Leading change management initiatives across Wormall Group
  • Conducting workplace investigations and providing recommendations to resolve issues
  • Supporting the performance review process, including probation assessments and performance improvement plans
  • Mentoring HR team members on ER and IR topics
  • Occasionally attending our Osborne Park or Cowaramup offices

Skillset needed

This is NOT an entry-level position. The essential requirements are:

  • Minimum of a Diploma or Degree in Human Resources
  • Previous experience supporting a blue-collar workforce
  • Strong understanding of the Fair Work Act and relevant legislation
  • Ability to work independently, confidentially, and with integrity
  • Proficiency in HRIS platforms (preferably Employment Hero) and MS Office Suite
  • A current Western Australian driver's license
