Overview

At Green Leaves Early Learning, our National Learning, Research, and Development (NLRDP) program supports team members personally and professionally. As a Lead Educator, you will be provided with learning and development opportunities including:

In addition, you will be supported day to day by the Centre Educational Leader. Using a strong focus on the image of the child, collaboration is key in providing a setting where you ignite creativity and curiosity amongst the children, reflecting a well-resourced and planned environment.

Responsibilities

As a Lead Educator, mentor and guide a team of Educators to meet high standards of curriculum and documentation; work collaboratively to plan, implement, and evaluate programs; contribute to a positive, inclusive learning environment; and support children's development in line with the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF) and National Quality Standards (NQS).

Ideal qualifications
  • A strong focus on Image of Child
  • Proven ability to plan, implement and evaluate programs with EYLF & NQS understanding
  • Leadership experience mentoring educators to meet high standards
  • ACECQA-approved Certificate III or Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care (or willingness to study towards Diploma within 3 months)
  • Current state Working with Children Check
  • Current Child Protection Training (or willingness to obtain)
  • Additional Child Protection Training as required by education laws; completion of CHCPRT025/CHCPRT001/CHCPRT026/CHCPRT002/CHCECE057 (or willingness to obtain before commencement)
  • Current Anaphylaxis, Asthma, CPR and First Aid Certificates (or willingness to obtain)
