Job Description

We are seeking experienced therapists to support individuals in crisis. As a volunteer counsellor, you will provide one-on-one therapy sessions for clients, following the Sunlight Centre Therapy Model and your own counselling skills.

  • Maintain accurate client records through our Client Management System
  • Participate in regular supervision sessions

You will have the opportunity to contribute to group support programs, psycho-education workshops, and community outreach initiatives. Additionally, you will receive:

Key Qualifications:

  • Experience in individual and group counselling
  • Skills in crisis intervention and suicide prevention
  • Proficiency in psycho-education and community outreach
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to maintain accurate records and case files
  • Experience working with diverse populations
  • Relevant qualifications in Psychology, Social Work, Counselling, or related field
  • Registration or eligibility for registration with relevant professional bodies
