Our iconic 301 berth Hamilton Island Marina located in the heart of the Great Barrier Reef now has an opportunity for a customer-driven Marina Operations Coordinator to join our team.

The Hamilton Island Marina is located in the heart of the Great Barrier Reef, where a boating paradise awaits. With a jet airport serviced by Virgin Australia, Qantas and Jetstar, and with direct flights from Sydney, Melbourne, Cairns and Brisbane, upon arrival our guests are just minutes away from being on their vessel. This makes it the perfect location to keep their vessel to cruise and explore hidden bays, iconic beaches and discover their own piece of the Great Barrier Reef.

Your day will see you doing everything that is needed to ensure the Marina guests stay runs smoothly and they enjoy their time with us.

You will be responsible for:

  • Taking and managing the Marina bookings and payments
  • Responding to phone, radio, email and fax communications
  • Stock control and ordering office and Marina supplies
  • Completion and filing of Marina Berthing and Boatyard agreements and ensuring Marina Rules and Regulations are passed on and followed by all marina and trailer park customers
  • Assisting with customer service to all guests in the Hamilton Island Marina, Chandlery and Boatyard

About You
You will love boats, boaties and everything to do with the water. You're sharp and super organised. You are an excellent communicator, both written and verbal and have an unwaivering commitment to providing friendly, efficient service.

You will also have:

  • Minimum 12 months in a marina role
  • High standard of personal presentation
  • Ability to communicate with a range of guests and key stakeholders
  • Strong accounts experience
  • A QLD current drivers license
