The Role
This position is based in Mount Isa based and is responsible to co-ordinate general electrical project activities from design through to construction, development of reliability programs/plans, applying appropriate engineering standards, technologies and systems. This position reports to the Senior Electrical Engineer, and working a 5/2/4/3 roster.

Your key responsibilities include:
  • The establishment of scopes of work for projects received from clients
  • The investigation and preparation of conceptual designs, whilst ensuring that project delivery meets agreed targets and is in accordance with approved plans
  • Working in a team environment as you conduct the wide and varied projects required
  • Developing and implementing reliability programs/plans for electrical assets within the high voltage network
  • Coordinating and management of internal test/inspection documentation and databases
  • The investigation and analysis of faults within the high voltage network
The successful applicants will have:
  • An Electrical Engineering degree with demonstrated project and design experience on High Voltage networks
  • Experience in maintenance and/or reliability engineering
  • Proven Project Management, RPEQ and Contractor Management skills will be highly regarded
  • A flexible attitude and sound work ethic
  • Excellent time management skills with the ability to achieve results within the specified time frames
  • A strong customer focus, high level of attention to detail and the ability to work well within a team environment or with minimal supervision
  • A sound understanding of work place OH&S and hold a manual drivers licence
