FIFO from Brisbane, Townsville or Cairns on a 2:2 roster working 12 hour days.In this role, you'll carry out on-site work throughout Australia and internationally, providing electrical and technical service, maintenance, and repairs on Normet and client underground machinery.International travel assignments will initially be to New Zealand and Papua New Guinea (PNG), with further destinations anticipated as business needs evolve.What we offerPermanent full-time position, offering job securityCompensation:$70 - $75 per hour + super for FIFO work in Mt Isa$85 - $90 per hour + super for FIFO international project workFIFO from Brisbane, Townsville or Cairns on a 2:2 roster (12 hrs per day)Accommodation and meals provided on siteUniforms providedAnnual remuneration reviewOpportunity to work with BEVs and cutting-edge mining technologyTraining and professional development including access to global training programsSupportive team culture and engaging work environmentEmployee Assistance Program, Team Player and Years of Service AwardsWhat you will need to succeedCertificate III Heavy Vehicle Mechanic / Fitter or equivalent with a minimum of 3-4 years industry experienceExperience in modification and repairs of heavy mobile equipmentStrong mechanical knowledge and experience with a high level of problem solving and diagnostic skillsAbility to read CAD engineer drawings, hydraulic, pneumatic and electrical schematics.Previous underground experience is highly desirableAbility to provide high level technical advice to clients in onsite as necessaryDrivers license is essential along with full working rights in Australia.
