Job Description

Opportunity snapshot:

The Manager of Implementations for the APAC Transfer Agency business oversees the team responsible for the Ideation and Discovery pipeline/backlog for complex client revenue, business, product, and regulatory initiatives. This role also manages Business Analysts within the Engineering structure of the Transfer Agency Technology business. The manager will leverage their experience in managing teams of consultants and analysts to deliver complex initiatives aligned with strategic priorities.

Direct reports:

• All members of the Business Consulting team.

Key accountabilities:

• Manage the Business Consultants responsible for the Ideation and Discovery pipeline/backlog for complex initiatives.
• Lead support, training, and development of best practices for Business Analysts within the Transfer Agency Technology business.
• Collaborate with Program Sponsors to prioritize the pipeline/backlog according to methodology.
• Coordinate with the Head of Front Door Transfer Agency APAC on assignment of work.
• Ensure Definition of Done (DoD) is achieved for each project phase.
• Develop and review business cases for strategic initiatives, securing approval from the Portfolio Steering Committee.
• Champion innovation initiatives aligning with business strategy.
• Share best practices and stay updated on industry trends and technologies.

Additional Responsibilities:

• Act as a trusted adviser to senior leaders on strategic planning and analysis.
• Develop strategic recommendations and identify risks.
• Lead initiatives to improve change delivery processes.
• Evaluate solution options to meet business needs.
• Assist in defining project scope, resources, benefits, and risks during discovery.
• Work with ICT teams to ensure system architectures support business capabilities.
• Stay informed about emerging trends and technologies.
• Collaborate across functions to improve practices and consistency.
• Manage engagement between divisions and enterprise leaders.
• Provide input for new business opportunities and client workshops.
• Use data to prioritize initiatives aligned with growth strategies.

Qualifications and Skills:

• 10+ years in team leadership, consulting, business analysis, and delivery in Financial Services.
• Customer-focused with a proactive attitude.
• Skilled in facilitation, collaboration, and pragmatic problem-solving at senior levels.
• Understanding of technology's impact on business at an enterprise level.
• Flexible, adaptable, and open to new challenges.
• Experience in gap analysis, feasibility studies, requirements, risk analysis, and business cases.
• Knowledge of project development frameworks and methodologies.
• Understanding of strategic planning and business change implementation.

Education & Qualifications:

• Degree or relevant experience in similar organizations.
• Relevant business analysis experience.
