Overview

Responsibilities
  • Greet customers, inspect waste and quantify fee, collect monies and issue payment receipts, and direct customers to appropriate areas for waste disposal.
  • Carry out landfill operations and maintain waste facility and associated offices and amenities, including vegetation management.
  • Maintain waste facility records and assist with transfer and management of waste within the facility.
About You / Qualifications
  • Current NSW Class C Drivers Licence.
  • Two (2) years with experience in a similar role (indicative) is preferred.
  • Demonstrated experience in the operation of landfill plant or similar earthmoving equipment.
  • Demonstrated oral communications skills in a customer-oriented work environment.
  • Experience with cash handling procedures.
Benefits
  • Seasonal casual positions with varying hours through school holidays and weekends, with the possibility of ongoing weekend shifts.
  • Hourly remuneration package starts at $45.47, comprising: $32.62 base salary, $8.16 casual loading, $4.69 superannuation (11.5%).
  • Additional $1.29 per hour Adverse Working Conditions Allowance Level 2.
  • Annual award salary increases and performance reviews; wellbeing initiatives (Employee Assistance Program, LifeWorks app, social club, health monitoring, annual flu vaccinations).
