Job Title: Waste Facility Team Members
We are seeking a reliable and customer-focused team member to join our operations team. As a key member, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth day-to-day operation of our waste facility.
About The Role- Greet customers and direct them to the appropriate areas for waste disposal.
- Inspect waste and quantify fees, collect monies, and issue payment receipts.
- Carry out landfill operations, including vegetation management and maintenance of waste facilities and associated offices and amenities.
- Maintain accurate records of waste facility operations and assist with transfer and management of waste within the facility.
- A current NSW Class C Driver's License.
- Two years' experience in a similar role (preferably).
- Demonstrated experience in the operation of landfill plant or similar earthmoving equipment.
- Demonstrated oral communication skills in a customer-oriented work environment.
- Experience with cash handling procedures.
This is a seasonal casual position with varying hours through school holidays and weekends, with the possibility of ongoing weekend shifts.
Key Skills Required: Customer service, record-keeping, communication, and team work.
