Job Opportunity:

We are seeking a dedicated Onsite Caretaker Couple to join our team on a casual basis. This unique opportunity is ideal for a couple with complementary skills, as one person will focus on grounds maintenance, and the other on reception and housekeeping.

About the Role

The successful applicants will be responsible for performing general park maintenance, including landscaping, gardening, and basic repairs. They will also ensure amenities, facilities, and recreational areas are clean, safe, and inviting. In addition, they will manage waste disposal, monitor utilities, and maintain the overall appearance of the park.

Responsibilities

  • Perform daily park inspections to identify and address any issues or concerns.
  • Maintain the cleanliness and organization of park amenities, including restrooms, laundry facilities, and communal spaces.
  • Conduct regular safety checks to ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards.
  • Provide exceptional guest service, including check-ins, check-outs, and handling inquiries.
  • Manage bookings using the park's reservation system.
  • Perform housekeeping tasks, including cleaning cabins and shared facilities.
  • Handle administrative duties, such as payments and reporting.
  • Respond to after-hours guest needs and emergencies as required.

Requirements

  • A motivated and resourceful couple with a passion for guest service and park operations.
  • Relevant experience in grounds maintenance, housekeeping, or reception is highly regarded.
  • Strong organisational, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Flexibility to work on-call and during peak times.
  • Basic computer literacy for managing bookings and correspondence.
  • Willingness to undergo a National Police Check and First Aid training.
