Overview

Multiple Analyst to Director roles – Renewables deals (Commercial role – 6/12 month contracts).

We're working with a key Federal Government program designed to accelerate Australia's transition to renewable energy. Multiple contract roles (6 or 12 months) are available in the Melbourne CBD, supporting the delivery of commercial agreements that enable large-scale renewable and dispatchable energy projects with the goal of assisting Australia in reaching its emissions targets.

Role details
  • Location: Melbourne CBD
  • Hours: 40 hours a week max
  • Contract: 6 or 12 months with extensions possible
  • Multiple Analyst to Director equivalent roles
  • Pay: up to $130/hr on offer
  • Citizenship: Only Accepting Australian Citizens

We are recruiting for multiple roles within the Commercial Team.

  • Work with legal, commercial advisers and delivery partners to negotiate project agreements
  • Contribute to tender design and commercial strategy
  • Provide analysis and recommendations at key decision points
  • Support implementation of social licence initiatives and stakeholder engagement
Ideal Candidate

We are seeking candidates with approximately 2–20 years' experience, ideally from:

  • Renewable energy or infrastructure development
  • Commercial/transaction background with exposure to PPA assessment within a deal context
  • Likely to come from the equity or lending side of renewables
You will bring
  • Commercial judgement and the ability to assess trade-offs across complex projects
  • Understanding (or capacity to develop it) of NEM/WEM markets and energy tenders
  • Strong stakeholder and communication skills
  • Proven ability to work in a collaborative, fast-paced environment
