We're working with a key Federal Government program designed to accelerate Australia's transition to renewable energy. Multiple contract roles (6 or 12 months) are available in the Melbourne CBD, supporting the delivery of competitive tenders and commercial agreements that enable large-scale renewable and dispatchable energy projects with the goal of assisting Australia in reaching its emmissions tarts.

Available Roles

We are recruiting for roles in two teams:

1. Tender Delivery Team

  • Manage and implement tenders to secure new renewable and clean dispatchable capacity
  • Coordinate with delivery partners on active tender rounds
  • Ensure probity and governance throughout tender processes
  • Brief internal stakeholders and senior government officials

2. Commercial Team

  • Work with legal, commercial advisers and delivery partners to negotiate project agreements
  • Contribute to tender design and commercial strategy
  • Provide analysis and recommendations at key decision points
  • Support implementation of social licence initiatives and stakeholder engagement

Ideal Candidate

We are seeking candidates with approximately
2–6 years' experience
, ideally from:

  • Renewable energy or infrastructure development
  • Legal (particularly with project or energy exposure)
  • Commercial/strategy consulting with an energy focus

You will bring:

  • Commercial judgement and the ability to assess trade-offs across complex projects
  • Understanding (or capacity to develop it) of NEM/WEM markets and energy tenders
  • Strong stakeholder and communication skills
  • Proven ability to work in a collaborative, fast-paced environment
