Overview

Join the Local Organising Committee for the AFC Women's Asian Cup 2026 as the Venue Accreditation Manager. The LOC is established to deliver the 2026 edition of the AFC Women's Asian Cup in Australia. The tournament will bring together 12 nations in a structure of three groups of four. This fixed-term role runs from November 2025 to March 2026, with consideration for a contractor/sole trader arrangement.

The role focuses on accreditation and access management within Venue Operations, with emphasis on safety, data protection and smooth operations.

Responsibilities
  • Responsible for the successful planning and delivery of accreditation services and operations in Australia for the AFC Women's Asian Cup 2026.
  • Contribute to the tournament's success by delivering the accreditation and access programme on time and to the required standards.
  • Manage the client accreditation registration process.
  • Work closely with safety and security to guarantee the quality of information, protection of data and operations.
  • Manage the Accreditation Centre operations and access.
  • Develop and implement accreditation manuals, procedures and operations under guidance of AFC Accreditation and Access Lead and LOC Accreditation Manager.
  • Manage the Accreditation Centre operations from logistics, FFE and technology.
  • Build successful working relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Deliver training to ACR staff, safety & security staff and volunteers.
  • Manage volunteer team and rostering.
  • Manage the AD card delivery and distribution as per Accreditation Operations Plan.
  • Finalize the requirements for the Access Control Boards and ensure they are displayed at every Accreditation checkpoint.
  • Ensure all zoning maps and client flow are finalised.
  • Support LOC in producing AD cards and perform quality assurance.
  • Produce AD cards and perform quality assurance.
  • Manage the accreditation team in all operations and client processes where required.
Qualifications
  • Background and experience in accreditation and/or working in Venue Management or at Events.
  • Understanding of accreditation and access management operations and its integration in accreditation within Venue Operations.
  • Knowledge of Venue Operations (Stadium).
  • Knowledge of developing procedures and policies for access at venues and translating these into effective operational delivery.
  • Ability to manage and operate in a dynamic working environment, handling multiple projects concurrently and under pressure.
  • Experience in working in a team environment and collaborating across a range of operational areas.
  • Strong interpersonal and people management skills.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills; a persuasive and passionate communicator with excellent public speaking skills.
  • Understanding of project management within a venue or major event environment with differing stakeholders.
  • Responds flexibly and communicates openly to shifting demands and priorities.
  • IT skills including MS Office (MS Excel, MS Word, MS PowerPoint, MS Visio & MS Project) and comfortable with using other IT programmes (MS Teams, Smartsheet, SharePoint).
  • High level of flexibility to meet changing priorities and variable working duties.
  • Ability to sustain high level performance and problem solving with limited supervision.
  • Demonstrated ability to maintain discretion and confidentiality.

  • Full working rights in Australia (note that due to the fixed-term nature of the tournament, sponsorship cannot be offered).
  • Working with children check (paid/employee) or state-based equivalent.
  • International Criminal History Record for each country (other than Australia) in which you have resided for 12 months or more in the last 10 years (if applicable).
  • Out of hours and weekend work as required.
