Job Title: Venue Operations Specialist

 

This is an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Venue Operations Specialist for the AFC Women's Asian Cup 2026 in Australia.

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the accreditation and access programme, ensuring smooth operations and a safe environment for all stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver accreditation services and operations in Australia for the tournament.
  • Contribute to the tournament's success by delivering the accreditation and access programme on time and to the required standards.
  • Manage client accreditation registration processes.
  • Work closely with safety and security teams to guarantee quality information, data protection, and operations.
  • Manage Accreditation Centre operations and access.
  • Develop and implement accreditation manuals, procedures, and operations under guidance of senior management.
  • Manage logistics, facilities, equipment, and technology for Accreditation Centre operations.
  • Build successful working relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Deliver training to ACR staff, safety & security staff, and volunteers.
  • Manage volunteer teams and rosters.
  • Finalize AD card delivery and distribution as per Accreditation Operations Plan.
  • Ensure Access Control Boards are displayed at every Accreditation checkpoint.
  • Finalize zoning maps and client flow.
  • Support production of AD cards and perform quality assurance.
  • Manage the accreditation team in all operations and client processes where required.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Background and experience in accreditation and/or venue management or events.
  • Understanding of accreditation and access management operations and its integration in venue operations.
  • Knowledge of venue operations (stadium).
  • Ability to manage and operate in a dynamic working environment, handling multiple projects concurrently and under pressure.
  • Experience working in a team environment and collaborating across operational areas.
  • Strong interpersonal and people management skills.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, including public speaking.
  • Understanding of project management within a venue or major event environment with diverse stakeholders.
  • Flexibility to meet changing priorities and variable working duties.
  • Ability to sustain high-level performance and problem-solving with limited supervision.
  • Demonstrated ability to maintain discretion and confidentiality.
