Overview

We are looking for a Key Account Executive to join our growing iAutomation team. This role reports to the iA lead. You will work with a diverse portfolio of products, driving revenue growth across the business. You will enhance planning, communication, and strengthen client relationships, becoming a trusted advisor to both internal and external stakeholders. You will be a skilled communicator, capable of managing corporate clients across Australia in the B2B sector.

Responsibilities
  • Identify and generate new business by leveraging industry trends while maintaining relationships with key accounts – particularly in BESS & Renewable Energy Sectors.
  • Stay updated on company offerings, competitors' products, and pricing to drive sales and achieve organizational goals.
  • Present the value of our products and services to uncover growth opportunities; analyse data to spot market trends.
  • Lead prospecting efforts, strategic account planning, and pricing negotiations, ensuring a solid understanding of sales contracts.
  • Participate in team meetings, maintain the client database, and provide reports to management.
  • Resolve customer issues promptly and ensure high satisfaction rates, aligned with company standards.
  • Collaborate closely with other sales departments and internal stakeholders to ensure seamless project execution and long-term customer success.
  • Build and manage a strong sales pipeline, ensuring alignment with our long-term business strategy.
  • Actively participate in trade fairs, industry events, and technical conferences to represent Advantech and stay ahead of market trends.
  • Accomplish the assigned sales quota.
Qualifications

  • At least 5+ years of sales experience in roles such as Key Account Manager or BDM.
  • Strong background in automation, industrial engineering, computer hardware, electronics, or IoT.
  • Proven experience in B2B sales within Industrial automation, Edge Computing, or Industrial IoT solutions, with quota achievement or notable growth accomplishment
  • Proactive and independent approach, with the ability to develop and execute key account strategies
  • Business acumen to plan and execute strategic sales initiatives and achieve ambitious targets.
  • Strong understanding & solid experience in BESS & Renewable Energy
  • Exceptional communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to manage competing deadlines and perform under pressure.
  • Proficiency in SAP & CRM systems and Microsoft Office.
  • Willingness to travel interstate.
