Our client — a high-profile, nationally recognised property developer — is seeking a commercially minded Legal Counsel to join their growing in-house team. This is a rare opportunity to step into a broad and impactful legal role supporting one of Australia's most dynamic real estate platforms.

Working closely with internal stakeholders across development, construction, finance, sales and asset management, the Legal Counsel will play a key role in reviewing and advising on a variety of contracts, deeds, and business-critical agreements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Review and summarise supplier, consultant, and development agreements
• Draft and maintain standard legal documentation and correspondence
• Provide legal support on IP protection, corporate governance, and compliance
• Maintain legal registers and assist with regulatory updates
• Liaise with external counsel and support internal teams with day-to-day legal matters

What We're Looking For:

• 1–3 years post-admission experience (in-house or private practice)
• Exposure to property, development, construction, or REIT law is highly regarded
• Admitted to practise law in NSW and eligible for a practising certificate
• Strong contract review and plain-English drafting ability
• Commercial, proactive, and solutions-oriented mindset
