Our client is a leading construction and engineering company with offices across Australia, dedicated to renewables and energy infrastructure. This specialist legal team is growing and seeking a talented front-end construction lawyer with 3-5 years' legal experience.

Responsibilities:

  • Provision of varied legal advice throughout the project delivery
  • Support commercial management and negotiation of contract and ongoing contractual requirements
  • Assistance with claims management and support for the bid team with commercial and contractual negotiations

The Successful Candidate will have:

  • Current Australian legal practising certificate and 3-6 years PQE
  • Background in front-end construction preferred but a mix of front and back will be considered
  • Knowledge of construction law and the construction industry gained in a leading law firm or specialist in-house team
  • Experience in end to end project delivery and risk management
  • Outstanding stakeholder and client relationship skills
  • Commercially driven candidate who is both a team player and capable of working independently
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
