In-House Legal Counsel

We are seeking a skilled legal professional to join our team as an in-house legal counsel. As a key member of the organization, you will provide expert legal advice and solutions in a commercial context.
This role requires strong legal experience in corporate mergers and acquisitions, transactions, and/or funds management. We are looking for ambitious lawyers with a strong law firm background who are looking to develop their in-house legal careers.
- Oversee the negotiation and execution of all legal documentation relevant to the business.
- Manage litigation effectively.
- Establish new entities as needed.
- Liaise with external legal specialists when required.
- Assist in reviewing and approving fundraising disclosure documents.
- Monitor legislative and general law developments and inform internal stakeholders accordingly.
- LLB degree with a current practicing certificate.
- At least 2 years post-qualified experience from a top-tier law firm or in-house experience.
- Experience in corporate, funds, and/or property (or REIT sector) is highly regarded.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbally and in writing.
- A strategic perspective with a focus on long-term goals.
- Ability to work effectively within the legal group or outside formal lines of authority.
