Permanent Full-Time role with leadership opportunity in Community Services. The City of Ryde is seeking a dynamic Senior Coordinator Community Services to lead a multidisciplinary team delivering high-impact programs and services that foster community wellbeing, cultural participation, and social inclusion.

Responsibilities
  • Oversee the planning, delivery, and evaluation of strategic initiatives across portfolios including: Children, Youth and Families; Seniors and Disability Inclusion; Cultural Diversity; Arts and Cultural Development; and Social Planning
  • Lead a high-performing team, drive innovation, and collaborate across sectors to embed creative and social outcomes

Your commencing annual salary will range from $127,953.42 to $148,783.05 + superannuation, dependent on your experience and qualifications.

The City of Ryde is seeking a dynamic Senior Coordinator Community Services to lead a multidisciplinary team delivering high-impact programs and services that foster community wellbeing, cultural participation, and social inclusion.

Key Requirements
  • Tertiary qualifications in Community Development, Social Planning, or a related discipline
  • Minimum 5 years experience in leading a high achieving multidisciplinary team for community development and arts and cultural services, projects and programs
  • Provide expert advice on social planning and future community needs
  • Build and maintain strategic partnerships and collaborative relationships with key stakeholders to support community capacity building
  • Represent Council at Council meetings, forums, committees and working groups and contribute to broader organisational initiatives
