Reporting to and partnering with the Head of Category & Insights, you will be empowered to contribute to further develop and execute the category strategy for all brands across all retailers. This role has become available due to company growth and internal promotion, and you will be an integral part of the team which is collaborative and dynamic.

You will be responsible for (not limited to) the following:

• Partner with the Sales team in customer engagement sessions by identifying growth initiatives during annual range review cycles.
• Providing data-led insights to drive the marketing strategy across all channels, including relevant information from local and global sources to direct NPD development.
• Support sales to grow, develop and implement strategic account plans through the provision of data-led insights that are aligned with broader business strategy, objectives, and internal perspectives.
• Partner cross-functionally to achieve commercial objectives across all channels within assigned financial parameters.
• Support the development of long-term category strategy of the 3-year planning and innovation development processes.
• Identify future Category trends and assist in the development of category growth drivers through the Annual Internal Category Planning process.
• Work closely with internal and external customers in providing expert category analysis, that blends consumer insights and shopper insights/dynamics to build a compelling category plan.
• Develop and recommend optimal promotional strategies that deliver against key metrics for success.
• Engaging key internal and external sources to identify "how our shopper's shop" and provide this data to Sales & Marketing teams to execute with excellence within store.
• Develop strong relationships with internal & external customers.

Whether you\'re currently a FMCG Category Analyst, Assistant Category Manager, or working within a data agency like Circana (IRI), Nielsen or Quantium, this is your chance to move into a strategic, commercially focused role on the client side of FMCG.

• Passionate about the welfare of pets
• Minimum 2 years relevant work experience in FMCG category management
• Excellent presentation and communication skills with the ability to interact and influence internal and external stakeholders
• High level of self-motivation and results focused
• Commercial acumen with strong analytical skills
• In-depth experience using IRI/Nielsen Scan, IRI Shopper Panel data and/or Quantium Checkout.
• Advanced knowledge of MS Office applications, specifically Excel and PowerPoint, with the ability to quickly
• High Emotional Intelligence and positive energy
• You thrive in a close-knit team environment
• Strong work ethic and high level of integrity
