Overview

Technology Operator role at WesTrac Cat, located in Guildford, WA, AU. Reporting into the Technology Training Manager, you will join the Learning and Development department at the WesTrac Technology Training Centre (WTTC) on a full-time, permanent basis. The role involves delivering base machine and MineStar/Construction Technologies training to support customer performance and contribute to the development of training programs aligned with new product introductions and market needs. This is a drive-in, drive-out role to Collie and surrounds, WA.

Roster: 8 days on, 6 days off – 12-hour days (including meal break).

What You'll Do
  • Deliver operator training across CAT equipment and MineStar systems, including AOZ, Terrain, and Command for Dozing
  • Provide performance reports and insights to customers to improve operational efficiency
  • Develop and maintain training resources and assessments in collaboration with SMEs
  • Support implementation of new training lines and maintain WTTC training areas to required standards
Skills & Experience
  • Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (desirable)
  • National competency in machine and equipment operation (e.g., dozers, shovels, excavators)
  • Significant experience operating heavy mining equipment, coupled with experience in Autonomous Operations
  • Strong communication, presentation, and customer service skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and intermediate computer literacy
  • High attention to detail, time management, and ability to work both independently and in a team
