About the role

As the Accounts and Office Manager at 5MI Aust Pty Ltd, you will play a vital role in overseeing the smooth day-to-day operations of our office in Fyshwick, ACT. This full-time position will see you responsible for leading a team of professionals to ensure the efficient functioning of our busy workplace.

What you'll be doing
  • Manage financial tasks such as invoicing, accounts payable and receivable, and payroll processing (Knowledge of Xero)
  • Manage and oversee all administrative functions, supervise and mentor the team, providing guidance and support to ensure they are productive and effective
  • Implement and maintain office policies and procedures to drive continuous improvement
  • Manage the office budget and monitor expenditures to ensure cost-effectiveness
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for all office-related inquiries and issues
  • Collaborate with the leadership team to identify and implement office efficiency initiatives
What we\'re looking for
  • Minimum 5 years\' experience in a similar Accounts / office management or administrative supervisory role
  • Proven track record of leading and developing a team of administrative professionals
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with stakeholders at all levels
  • Proficient in using Xero, Microsoft Office suite and other office management software
  • A minimum of 1-2 years of hands-on Xero experience is required
  • Familiarity with office policies, procedures, and best practices in the administration and office support industry
  • A collaborative mindset and the ability to work effectively in a team environment
