Join our Downer Professional Services team and express your interest in future opportunities within our System Engineering stream. We are seeking to engage skilled professionals with Defence or Defence industry experience to join our permanent workforce and support complex defence and national security projects that safeguard Australia's future.
Downer Professional Services is comprised of two business units, our Technical, Advisory, and Capability consulting practice and Team Downer, a major service partner to Defence. Together, we are a multi-disciplinary advisory and delivery partner of choice for our clients in Defence and National Security.
We're interested in hearing from professionals with experience aligned with the below roles:
- Commercial Management
- Contract Management
- Procurement Management
- Tenders and Contracting Management
Previous experience ideally within the Defence or consulting services industries.
- Proven experience working in Land, Communications, Navy, Space or other Defence sectors
- Experience with leading and driving acquisition or sustainment commercial, procurement and contract management in Defence
- ASDEFCON, Defence Procurement, Commonwealth Procurement or other related Defence frameworks and compliances
- Ability to work in a collaborative team environment and stakeholder management
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills and strong attention to detail
Due to the nature of the work, you are required to currently hold and maintain a minimum Negative Vetting 1 or higher Security clearance as required by the Commonwealth. In some instances, compliance with International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) requirements may also be an inherent requirement.
