Weekly Salary: $1,106.10 - $1,117.60 WHA3 | multiple positions, various hours – Permanent ongoing positions available, across a 7-day roster including day/afternoon/night shifts.

About the role

Reporting to the Floor Coordinator, this position supports the day-to-day operations of our Hotel Services team. You will provide timely, hygienic, and high-quality food and cleaning services in accordance with schedules and hospital procedures. You will work closely with a multi-disciplinary team and contribute to the unit's day-to-day operations.

  • Assisting with general and/or specialised cleaning of areas and equipment
  • Adhering to infection control procedures and Food Safety Standards
  • Following daily work routines and schedules as directed by supervisors
  • Contributing to a safe and healthy work environment by adhering to WHS and hospital protocols
  • Active participation in team meetings, mandatory training, and continuous improvement initiatives
  • Upholding SALHN values and maintaining confidentiality, professionalism, and a patient-first mindset

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
  • Sound interpersonal and communication skills
  • Flexibility in work routines and a proactive approach
  • Strong attention to detail and hygiene
  • Ability to meet the physical demands of the role, including manual handling
  • Understanding of WHS and infection control principles
  • Commitment to providing care with the same quality we would expect for our own family
