Overview

Horticulture Trainee – multiple opportunities available in Sydney, NSW. Traineeship program allows you to earn while you learn and work toward a Certificate III in Horticulture over 24 months, with on-the-job training and face-to-face classes approximately one day every three weeks at Penrith.

Role and responsibilities

You will work in a team to keep parks and open spaces looking their best. Tasks include mowing, planting, mulching, fertilising, spraying and watering, and maintaining trucks and equipment. Safety and environmental care are core to the role.

Remuneration

From $827.40 per week + 12% superannuation

Qualifications, skills and experience
  • Commitment to undertake and complete all required tasks
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
  • Ability to communicate effectively with the public, co-workers and management
  • Current C Class Driver's Licence (P plate acceptable)
