Business Traineeship

Position Overview

As a Business Trainee, you'll provide administrative support and interact with a diverse range of stakeholders, including businesses, apprentices, and trainees. Your role is to support the smooth day-to-day operations of the office while delivering excellent customer service. In addition to supporting NextGen Jobs, you will also assist our sister company, WPC Group and this dual role offers a dynamic opportunity to engage with both organisations and enhance your business skills.

About the Position:

• Provide administrative support, including phone and email communications
• Communicating and liaising effectively with various stakeholders with staff, clients and customers, to assist in the professional operation of the area
• Assist with general administrative tasks, such as typing, emailing, data entry and minute taking
• Assist in the organisation and hands-on running of a Group Training Organisation
• Simultaneously complete a Certificate III in Business

Key Accountabilities:

• Answer incoming enquiries and referrals from stakeholders, including employers, apprentices/trainees, and the general public.
• Assist with preparing documents for meetings and organising meeting rooms.
• Support with general office administration, including flyers and other resources, posting and managing couriers.
• Support the team with ad-hoc administrative tasks.
• Operate effectively as a part of the team to provide excellent customer service to internal and external stakeholders.
• Keep accurate and complete records of your work activities in accordance with legislative requirements and NextGen Job's records, information security and privacy policies.
• Adhere to Occupational Health & Safety policies and procedures.
• Complete training, studies & classes in order to obtain your Certificate III in Business.
