Landscape Maintenance Ground Person/ Trainee Horticulturist or General Hand

Family owned Lawn & Garden care business operating in the Sutherland Shire and Sydney metro areas looking for our next team member to join the team.

Due to long term growth we are looking for a motivated new staff member to begin work with us.

Experience preferred but not essential. (Trade - Cert 3 Horticulture) or Anyone looking to become a Trainee and willing to Study Cert 3 in Hort.

Good understanding or willingness to learn Maintenance Process and seasonal activities.

Positive Can Do Attitude

On the job training will be provided for the right applicant.

Casual positions also available

Reliable, Hard working, Enthusiastic and competent to complete physical work.

Safety Focused

Duties Include:

General Landscaping installations and Renovations

Lawn Maintenance: whipping/ blowing/ edging/ poison and chemical applications.

Garden Care: Pest and Disease identification. Knowledge of trimming and hedging process, pest and weed identification.

Garden Maintenance work identification and notification of next visit activity back to office.

Driving a fully maintained company vehicle and all tools provided for the right applicant.

Reporting of undertaken tasks and for the right individual running a small crew on a daily basis.

Requirements or willing to obtain:

Drivers license, National police check, Working with children check.
