Job DescriptionWe are looking for a Lawyer to join the Darwin Office on a permanent full-time basis. You will be part of a team that is committed to social justice in the Northern Territory and will be given opportunities to contribute to policy and advocacy work in order to bring about change in the Northern Territory, particularly in the compensable injury regimes. At Maurice Blackburn it is important that our clients receive exceptional legal advice no matter where they live and therefore you will have the opportunity to travel throughout the Territory to support our clients.

ResponsibilitiesYour responsibilities will include running personal injury files, working collaboratively with colleagues, contributing to the development of legal strategies, engaging with clients throughout the lifecycle of their claims, attending court and mediation as required, and maintaining high standards of legal work and compliance. You will play a key role in delivering excellent client service and outcomes, with a focus on progressing matters efficiently and professionally.
Qualifications- Extensive experience in Workers\' Compensation, Public Liability and Motor Vehicle Compensation claims (preferred).
- Demonstrated litigation experience (essential).
- Demonstrated capacity in executing business development.
- Excellent interpersonal skills with experience providing high level client service.
- Demonstrated proactive approach to file management.
- Experience working in a high-volume work environment.
