By joining our high performing team in Darwin, you will be part of a fast-paced environment dedicated to providing outstanding service, strategic thinking and claims support, specifically in the common law and recoveries portfolios.
We are seeking an Injury Management Specialist, based in our Darwin office.
About the role
- Collaborate with claims operations and treatment providers to develop strategies for improving MAC claim outcomes through structured injury management practices
- Establish and maintain provider management strategies and relationships to enable support to the business
- Ensure timely management of all medical & rehabilitation requests and approvals in line with MACC service levels
- Ensure high level customer service to all stakeholders involved in the treatment and service provision to MAC claimants in line with MAC values
- Coach and mentor claims teams
About you
- Extensive experience in injury management relating to occupational rehabilitation, claims management and/or return to work
- Tertiary qualifications in a relevant discipline and/or industry accreditations
- Understanding of relevant regulatory and/or legislative compliance requirements that impact the organisation
- Coaching and mentoring experience
- Demonstrated ability to use clinical reasoning for decision making
- A passion for leveraging emerging technologies to stay ahead in a rapidly evolving digital landscape
