Treatment Room Team Leader

As a Treatment Room Team Leader, you will play a vital role in overseeing the delivery of services within our treatment room and supporting healthcare professionals. Your key responsibilities will include managing clinical duties with direction from treating HCPs, building relationships to create patient ease, and collaborating with practice management and treatment room staff.

  • Manage the provision of services within a Medical Centre's treatment room and assist Health Care Professionals.
  • Conduct a range of clinical duties with direction from treating HCPs including pathology collection, vaccinations, ECG monitoring, wound dressings, change of linen, cleaning and sterilisation of equipment.
  • Build relationships to create patient ease prior to procedures or treatments.
  • Triage patients and assist HCPs in procedures.
  • Assist Practice Manager with rostering, recruitment and managing treatment room staff performance.
  • Liaise with Practice Manager and Treatment Room staff to ensure SOPs are known and followed.
Requirements
  • Registered Nurse with prior experience in General Practice or an Acute setting; previous leadership experience is highly regarded, with development support if required.
  • Passionate about health care and improving the lives of the community.
  • Ability to contribute to the medical centre team and evolving business, with initiative to make decisions and work independently when required.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills to engage with patients and colleagues.
