An exciting opportunity to join the Australian Turf Club's dynamic and creative Marketing team. The Commercial Events & Experiences Coordinator provides support and assistance to the Marketing Events Manager and broader marketing team and day to day will;
- Support the Marketing Events Manager in the execution of customer experience activations, and entertainment across our annual calendar, with a focus on Autumn and Everest Carnival
- Plan and execute activations to enhance customer experience including fashion competitions, speciality precincts, photo moments, concerts and more
- Support the delivery of special events including barrier draws, fashion lunches, media launches and cocktail events
- Assist in working with the partnerships team to leverage opportunities, the operations team to execute seamless experiences and the marketing team to provide engaging content.
- Assist in managing annual events and experiences budget
- Administrative support for marketing department including assisting the PR team with colour photoshoots, media calls and talent / media activities on major race days
- Development of event documentation including run sheets and briefing kits
- Produce post event reports, outcome analysis and debriefs related to the events
- Help set up new business suppliers and manage invoicing across events.
To be successful in the role, you will possess:
- Standard professional level IT skills.
- Educated to degree standard. A recent graduate or 1 to 2 years marketing experience.
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to multi-task and manage time appropriately.
- Enjoys personal accountability. Self-motivated with the ability to work well within a small team.
- Evidence of resilient, tenacious and action orientated approach.
- Able to demonstrate strong attention-to-detail.
- Confident in building relationships.
- Passionate about delivering great customer experiences.
- An interest or empathy with sport and entertainment brands.
- A strong communicator able to work with internal stakeholders.
- Team player, positive and outgoing personality.
- Candidate will require drivers license and car as frequent travel to/from the four racecourses
