This is your opportunity to join Mosaic Multicultural Connections and lead a dynamic team delivering vital support across the Central Coast and Newcastle regions.
About the Role
As the Team Leader – Settlement Casework, you'll manage day-to-day operations and support a team of case workers and bilingual support staff delivering trauma-informed, culturally responsive services. You'll also maintain a small caseload of complex cases, provide practice leadership, and represent Mosaic in interagency networks.
What You'll Do
- Supervise, guide and support a team of case workers across multiple locations
- Lead complex case reviews and practice improvement initiatives
- Build strong partnerships with government and community services
- Oversee referrals and ensure compliance with SETS and organisational guidelines
- Contribute to program reporting and data quality
What You'll Bring
- Bachelor's degree in Social Work or related discipline
- 5+ years of casework experience, ideally in settlement, refugee or multicultural settings
- Proven leadership or team supervision experience
- Sound understanding of trauma-informed and culturally responsive practice
- Current driver's licence and ability to travel across regions
- National Police Check & Working with Children Check
